Trillium ovatum (Birth root)

Birth root, often commonly named Wakerobin, Pacific trillium or wood lily, is a native perennial used by several native North American tribes during childbirth and to regulate menstruation. It is not commonly used by modern herbalists but makes a beautiful ornamental.
