Volunteer in the Gardens

Join a community of growers

Do you love to garden? Are you looking for some conversation with like-minded plant lovers? Do you want to learn about medicinal plants and healing foods while contributing to a local not-for-profit?

Innisfree Farm & Botanic Garden welcomes volunteers on Wednesdays from 9 am – 1 pm starting in April and continuing until late October.

Volunteers may be involved in weeding, pruning, seeding, and transplanting as well as harvesting and processing medicinal plants.

No gardening experience necessary but be prepared for some physical activity – bring closed footwear, rain gear / sun hat, and a pair of garden gloves. A farm-fresh lunch is served at 1 pm for all volunteers.
