Leonurus cardiaca (Motherwort)

One of the classic heart relaxing and calming herbs and is well known as a uterine tonic. Tall and slightly invasive through seeds. Leonurus, the genus name, means �lion�s tail� because many believed the plant�s leaves resembled the tip of a lion�s tail whereas cardiaca reveals its cardiovascular properties.
