Bergenia ciliata (Bergeria)

Bergenia ciliata, a perennial native to the Himalayas, is used in Ayurveda medicine to mainly treat kidney stones. It is also commonly called fringed bergenia and the species name ciliata meaning in Latin �soft hair� refers to the hairy leaves.
